The Game: At that time they were Empaladores de Sapos strong enought to beat anyone in our Premier. Now Piraí is stronguer than ever and everything can happen in our rematch at the return. Lets enjoy this victory and keep this in mind for next game couse things probably will be diferent.
1st. Q - PB 32 x PE 12
Another great start for our team with Dee Jay keeping things under control scoring 24. Fabrício helped a lot and probably was the key for this partial victory stealing twice and blocking 8 times.
2nd Q - PB 45 x PE 31
Another great advantage with Toms (24) and Juliano (18) leading us. Luis could not stop Ian Peter Bernold who scored 13.
3rd. Q - PB 31 x PE 23
Dee missed a lot of shoots against Scola but Artur did great scoring 23. Fabrício was the name on defense but we need to recognise that Matheus did great frustrating their tatics with Roger Carneiro.
4th. Q - PB 49 x PE 31
Nominated the Man on Match Toms made 22 points followed by Juliano with 18. We lost Luis too early but Kaz came on time and stealed once and blocking 3 shoots.

The Game: Another easy match on Challenge. Good to make avg points but we all know that the worst game still about to come.
1st. Q - PB 51 x GL 17
23 points for Artur and he kept surprising at Challenge folowed by Dee with 22. Mat got the defense side stealing 3 and blocking once. We already made more than their team at the entire game!
2nd Q - PB 48 x GL 5
Another good job at ofense with Juliano scoring 24 and Thyago 20 but defense was a show a part with Kaz (4 stl and 5 blk), Sendo (1 stl and 6 blk), Thyago (4 stl and 1 blk) and finanly Baby (4 stl).
3rd. Q - PB 48 x GL 4
What a quarter! 35 points for Artur and 8 stls for Matheus .
4th. Q - PB 55 x GL 3
Awsome! Thyago got 23 and Juliano 10 points. Baby probably had his best performance this season in a single quarter scoring 11 (3/3 3pt) and stealing 10.

Tight Q but we got the advantage leaded by Dee with 16 and Toms 14 points. Luis helped a lot scoring more 5 and blocking 3. Their plans were frustraded by Fabrício who managed to steal 5 ball and block 4 shoots from Kevin Stauder reducing his performance to only 8 points.
2nd Q - PB 38 x FQA 27
Things got better with Juliano (18 pts) and Thyago (14 pts). We could not see the stats growing on defense but they were there as our opponents missed a lot of shoots.
3rd. Q - PB 44 x FQA 26
Now we won. Artur made 17 points and Dee left the game foulled out at the first minuet scoring 2 but well replaced by Thyago who was able to score another 13 points. All others made his points assisted by our scorers who had huge defense to fight against. Otulos made not only 4 points but stealed 3 times and bloked once replacing Fabrício foulled out too.
4th. Q - PB 32 x FQA 26
Even without the players who were set for the qaurter we had another great performance. Toms got 16 points and Juliano another 8. Kaz left the game at the end but had enought time to bring some nightmare to Krusty Bazooka blocking him 3 times.

O Brasil começará a Copa do Mundo com o pé direito!!! Depois de uma vitória incrível por 8 a 6 contra os, até então, favoritos Tailândia!!!O Brasil começou uma máquina, marcando 4 a 0 em 28min, com 2 gols de Adriano e 2 de Thierry Henry (esta dupla promete e cumpre), a Tailândia tentou reagi, diminuindo para 5 a 2, mas foi só no primeiro tempo (só??? 7 gols em 45 min, ehehe).O segundo tempo foi mais tenso para o Brasil, mesmo com defesas incríveis de Rogério Ceni (39 no total), a Tailândia diminuiu para 7 a 6, mas Adriano estava impossível e fechou o placar aos 79min, totalizando 6 gols, merecendo o MOM da partida!!!

O treinador da Seleção Brasileira, Dee Jay, acaba de anunciar o primeiro amistoso da seleção, será no dia 7 contra a equipe da Thailandia (Thai), uma das favoritas a levar o título mundial. O amistoso funcionará da seguinte forma, a equipe do São Paulo abrirá 6 vagas para que 6 convocados integrem a equipe no dia 7 e sejam devolvidos às suas equipes logo em seguida, de modo que não atrapalhe ninguém, até agora decidi pelos seguintes integrantes:

Após um atraso de quase 24h para o tão aguardado clássico, a espera valeu à pena, uma partida muito bem jogada, mas que, infelizmente, terminou em um resultado de poucos gols...
O Flamengo começou a partida assustando a torcida São Paulina, com um gol aos 11 min de Luís Flybiano, mas o São Paulo não se abateu e pressionou o Flamengo, com grande número de passes e chutes, quase o dobro da equipe rubro-negra. Quando todos achavam que o Flamengo iria para os vestiários com um gol de vantagem, Hernanes robou uma bola no meio de campo e chutou uma bomba de fora da área no angulo de Bruno, indefensável!!!
O segundo tempo foi marcado por muito respeito de ambas as equipes, mas estava claro que o resultado favorecia o Flamengo, mesmo jogando em casa, logo o São Paulo pressionou e distribuiu muitos passes, contudo a defesa rubro-negra conseguiu neutralizar o Imperador, que pela primeira vez não marcou um gol em 90min.
O São Paulo segue na disputa e agora aguarda o Flamengo no Morumbi, onde pretende demonstrar todo o poder de sua torcida!

Another Deutsche Classic!

Q1 - DL 20 x RT 41
Even losing the game, I think it's worthy making comments about this classic. We had a horrible start, I guess it was a mistake to set the tactics 50 min before the game, but Alfred and I couldn't do it on the last minute... Gordo Cabron avoided our defense, choosing to face Francesc Pont, as PG, he managed to score 26 points (perfect shooting), besides suffering 4 fouls in 12 min. Our best player was Cloud Nine with 8 points and 1 steal, I should have trusted more balls on him, but I thought they would use their defensive PF against him... DJ had a hard time against Oded Katash, missing 3 shots and sufferinf 3 fouls. Jansen didn't have a good start... he felt the pressure of their defense and couldn't scape Frantachello Rubio. Marinos had a regular quarter with 6 points while Francesc helped the team with 3 steals, but couldn't hold Gordo... I believe losing this quarter resulted on our loss.
Q2 - DL 39 x RT 38
A much better quarter on offense, but our defense kept making mistakes... We couldn't hold Jonne Martikainen who scored 15 points from the 3pt line. Porco didn't let us down with 16 points and 4 assists, great quarter! Alfred didn't avoid Jonne's 3 pts shots, but he managed to score 12 points and stole 4 balls, substituting well Pont. Cloud Nine scored 6 points and assisted 6 times, but had a hard time holding Manu, making 3 fouls. DJ was my biggest disappointment, missing 8 shots, one of his worst performances.
Q3 - DL 40 x RT 32
After a word from the manager, the team was back on the game, diminishing the difference of points... Porco led the team with 22 points (perfect shooting) and 5 assists. Jansen also returned much better with 10 points and 5 assists. Marinos also didn't let us down and scored 8 points, blocking and stealing, keeping a strong defense, holding Gordo with only 4 points, awesome job. Matheus had some trouble facing Manu, making 4 fouls, but helped the tea, with 5 assists.
Q4 - DL 30 x RT 44
Another horrible quarter to our defense. We allowed Gordo and Owusu to score 32 points together... Our best player on offense was Jansen with 14 points. Closelly followed by Porco with 10 points, besides one block and steal. Marinos suffered a strong defense from Frantachello Rubio and missed too many shots. Cloud fouled out and gave space to Erich that helped on defense, but didn't avoid Kuincy Owusu from scoring.

I´m posting these after matches in honor of 2 awesome Classics we had on first round, unfortunatelly we only won one of them.
Q1 - DL 35 x TSB 32
Congratulations, guys, we've won another Classic on Deutsche Liga!!! And this victory is even sweeter as Victor is a great manager, with an awesome history on this league. Cloud Nine was a monster, breaking through their defense, scoring amazing 23 points, stealing and blocking twice!!! Our big guys were amazing, Dee jay scored 8 points and assisted 4 times. Marinos had some difficulty on offense, scoring only 4 points, but he kept a strong defense with 2 blocks and 1 steal. Alfred and Matheus focused their game on defense, allowing their team mates to score without worrying so much with defense.
Q2 - DL 30 x TSB 45
This was our wrost quarter, our offense didn't work welll and our defense was even worst. Dj led the team with 10 points. Followed by Marinos with 8 points and 1 block. Matheus had a hard time scoring, missing quite a few shots, but still managed to get 6 points. Erich scored 4 points and blocked twice. While Pont had a hard time on defense, letting their player socre really high.
Q3 - DL 38 x TSB 36
Unfortunatelly, they managed to foul out two of our main stars, Marinos and Cloud, but our backup was awesome!!! Alfred suffered 5 fouls, fouling out Rafael Emesha (one of their best scorers). Alfred scored 22 points and stole 2 balls, one of Alfred's best games ever!!! Porco Aranha showed us that he is ready to assume the MVP position he deserves, scoring 8 points (perfect shooting). Erich scored 4 more points, stole twice and blocked once. DJ didn't play so well on offense this quarter, but focused on defense, holding their scorers, besides assisting his team mates 4 times.
Q4 - DL 38 x TSB 22
Dresdner players, with the help of the fans, decided to return and win this game, Pont was on fire, scoring 14 points (perfect shooting) and stealing 4 times, awesome quarter. DJ also led the team with important 10 points and 4 assists, besides 1 block and 1 steal. Porco helped the team with 6 points while Matheus grabbed with 5 rebounds and scored 4 points. Last but not least, Erich sub Marinos well with 4 points, 4 steals and 3 assists.
MOM:Dee Jay (30 points and 13 assists – double-double)!
Special Recognition:
Alfred Romminger – 22 points and 3 steals!
Erich Adam - 12 points, 6 steals, 3 blocks and 6 assists!

National Team!
I would like to congratulate our players that are on the National Teams, Dee Jay (Brazil), Jansen Wiese (Germany) and Stavros Marinos (Greece) had amazing performances on their last games! Brazil has already qualified for the next round as it is undefeated, we managed to left USA out of the next round!!! DJ was really helpful to Brazil's team with defensive rebounds. Jansen's 10 points and 6 assists almost guaranteed Germany's victory against UK, losing for only 10 points, I'm sure Germany will classify for next round after they face Estonia. Marinos was the star of Greece's National Team, with 22 points, 3 steals and 5 assists in 36 min, almost getting a victory against Chile, they will have a hard time facing Bulgaria next round, but thay still have chances of qualifing...It's a pity that Mexico is not playing, otherwise I'm sure Cloud Nine would make a difference.

Another season at the end
We are almost there: the end of the 5th season. And we did great this season and we have much more to do!

Yep, we are between the top 10 of Deutsche Liga!!! And we are almost the 6th best team of the Liga... There a few matches missing for the end of the season and we will work hard to achieve this position!!

Q1 - DL 32 x DL 34
Hard start. They were without manager, so the computer start with their best players. Matheus, Irk and Cloud made a good score (8 points each), but we couldn’t hold their best player, Phillip Champion. The team played well together, with Rui and Matheus making some assists for scoring (3 assists each).
Q2 - DL 37 x DL 24
The game start to change. Maxmin lead the score with 14 points, followed for Dee Jay with 11 points. Alfred, Matheus and Playa keep on defense. Matheus was the best on defense with 3 blocks and one steal. Alfred almost fouled out trying to hold back Phillip Champion what he did ok, if we don’t take in consideration the fouls.
Q3 - DL 26 x DL 19
Good quarter. Matheus was great on defense with 2 steals and 1 block keep the low score of Phillip. Maxmin also did good with four blocks. Dee Jay (8 points), Cloud and Rui (6 points each) lead the team on offense.
Q4 - DL 52 x DL 07
Amazing quarter. Either their players get tired or fouled out. This opened space for our attack. Playa Playa lead with 19 points, followed close from Dee Jay with 18 points. This quarter was also great for Playa on defense, with 2 steals, 1 block and 5 rebounds. Alfred was a great team player with 8 assists.
MOM:

Top 10!
Dresdner Löwen is about to return to the top 10 teams on the league! And We hope we will return never to leave again!!! Our team is no doubt one of the best of the League, besides our managers and players have reached this level without any cheating, but throught a lot of hard work and commitment to the team. I'm glad with the improvements we have made, hope everybody will keep improving their players with training and CDPs. Let's keep up the great job and win a title this season! I believe we can make history on Oscar Trophy!!! Let's work hard for that!!!

A great quarter for Dee Jay who played like a monster, as Matheus Arruda said once, 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal! Also helped on offense by Rui Dias, Irk Nowitzki and Otulos Gomes with 6 points each, besides 5 rebound from Irk! Matheus Arruda played great on defense, as always, not allowing their SF to score at all.

Our best quarter! Great job guys! An awesome performance by Irk Nowitzki with 16 points and 4 assists. Closely followed by Dee Jay with 14 points and 5 assists! Now it was Alfred's time not to let their PG score at all, they must feel frustrated! Another great defensive quarter to Matheus, with 2 steals, 1 block and 4 rebounds! Ahti was great with the assists, as he usually does!

The game turned ugly... tied quarter... Their fans started supporting their team, giving us a hard time. Otto Fatting replaced DJ as our mais scorer, 10 points! Followed by Ahti with 8 points, besides assisting 3 times and grabbing 4 rebounds. Maxmin used wisely his 12 min this game, 6 points and 1 block, I'm missing his last 20 blocks on 1 game, ehehe, 10 would be enough ;) Otulos also helped scoring 4 points, and we finally made their SG Porco Aranha get tired!

Yes, what you have been hearing is true... Dresdner Löwen will renew its contract to play on Deutsche Liga for one more season!!! I know Dresdner fans are getting crazy reading this news, the best team of the city will keep on getting stronger, trying to bring a title to this awesome city and population!!! The manager and co-manager of the team said they are just waiting for the CDPs from this blog post to renew it! So let's celebrate this great news!

Cyberdunk.com has allowed me to accomplish one of my dreams... to become a basketball team manager. I`ve been since january the proud manager of Dresdner Löwen, Deutsche Liga, and I hope we will soon win our first tittle. Come cheer for us on our next home game!

Working as a team
Our team is getting stronger, our value is higher than when we beggin, but this isn't all. We also need active player, that work with the manager to create a winner team. That's why we create our team forum in the Talkdep.

I would like to believe that we are making history!
Yeah, we are a new team and we start playing after half season. Make sense that we didn't make the same placement from the last season of the Deutsche Liga, but we are still fighting for better positions. And every day we grow stronger.
